PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY Over nineteen years of experience as an Active Duty Navy Clinical Psychologist providing direct comprehensive psychological patient care, advanced psychological diagnostic methods, and evidenced-based intervention strategies to our active duty Warriors, retired Veterans, and their family members across various medical treatment facilities and military operational settings. Activities have included psychodiagnostic testing and assessment, risk assessment and crisis intervention, individual and group psychotherapy, security clearance and personnel selection evaluations, consultation to medical colleagues and military leaders, continuing education presentations, and clinical supervision for interns, residents, and postdoctoral fellows. Trained and experienced in cognitive behavioral therapy for depression and anxiety, protocol therapies for PTSD, interdisciplinary rehabilitation for Wounded Warriors suffering from mTBI and psychiatric co-morbidities, and readjustment counseling for returning Warriors and their families. Experience also includes leadership assignments in program development, management of personnel and resources, and process improvement.
