About Gregory Chapel

I began my working career in the construction industry as a sub-contractor. I started with no working knowledge of the field and learned from experience. I have been involved in flooring, framing, and roofing. I have menial experience in plumbing, wiring and finish work. In the past, I have been Hazmat certified to work in a fertilizer warehouse. I have been, and can be, forklift certified. The only reason that I am not currently certified to drive a forklift is due to not needing a state certification until moving to Florida. I hold over thirty certifications in weather from self training through NOAA online self learning courses. These courses were taken to support a hobby. I enjoy expanding my knowledge and learning new skills. I am currently attending morning classes i. Welding Technology at Southern Technical College in Auburndale, Fl. in an effort to obtain an Associates of Applied Science in the welding field. Through this course, I have taken and passed the OSHA 10 certification for general industry. I am a part-time bicycle repair man. I plan to use my new skill both to market myself for employment and to expand my hobby. I look forward to making a career change to the welding industry.
