About Gregory Cody

I am the President of GCC Enterprises and I am responsible for the management and the daily operations of the company.I am passionate about my company giving back, I hold a seat on the board at TEXO which is the largest commercial contractors association in Texas; and GCC Enterprises is currently on the roster for the following nationally known community outreach programs: ASPCA, Habitat for Humanity, Special Olympics of North Texas. Most recently, GCC Enterprises assisted in a Community Involvement activity coordinated by the Black Contractors Association; helping bring an elderly woman’s home in South Dallas up to code. Throughout my career I have overcome the numerous challenges that come with being a business owner; however, my perseverance and dedication to excellence has afforded me the opportunity to be a part of a Mentor Protégé Relationship with McCarthy Building Companies. I am currently the executive managing partner on two large joint ventures. Shortly after finishing the Small Business Associations Emerging Business 200(E200) course, I was awarded the SBA’s Minority Small Business Person of the year award in 2010. In 2012 GCC Enterprises Inc. was the recipient of the MBE Construction Supplier of the Year, which is awarded by the Dallas Fort Worth Minority Small Business Development Council. Most recently I was named among the Dallas Business Journal’s 2013 Minority Business Leaders.
