I have worked for Suncorp for the last 10 years. I began with the General banking team in the contact centre and after 6 months moved to the home loan services team, also in the contact centre, whilst there I did pricing requests for interest rate reduction, variations to existing loans, retention calls, releases, settlements liaising and general loan maintenance as well as maintaining a sales target. I then moved out to a branch an was a Lender. Where I was responsible for taking a loan applications, and seeing it through to settlement for the customer. Added to this I was still doing the same things that I did at the contact centre. Since 2005 I have been in the Internal support team. This is like a trouble shooting team for questions on credit policy and bank procedures and processes, and supporting operating systems. My knowledge as a subject matter expert in lending is often called on by stake holders and facilitaors in order to improve learning material or check understanding. I have been involved is supporting the Oracle lending system as well as othe data entry platforms. I am service, not sales orientated and believe that lending need sto be done correctly and resposnibly. You cannot say yes to everything.
