About Gregory Daphne

I am a graduate of UC Davis with a bachelors of science degree in neurobiology, physiology, and behavior (NPB). I will be attending Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health for a Masters in Public Health Biology beginning Fall 2021. I am working towards my goal of clinical health care and research. I am currently working as a Lead phlebotomist in an outpatient lab. I have been involved in the hospitals COVID-19 response by assisting in organizing, staffing, training, and maintaining a COVID testing facility. I have had several years of experience working in the medical field as an emergency medical technician. I was an assistant skills instructor at the Allan Hancock College EMS Training Program for four years. I briefly worked for American Medical Response in Santa Barbara county as an EMT where I gained experience in working in the field. I am extremely passionate about medicine and obtaining my goal of attending medical school. I am hoping to make connections with various healthcare professionals who work in both the clinical setting as well as research so I may achieve a stronger understanding of healthcare as a whole.
