About Gregory Gomez

I believe that change is the only constant when it comes to cyber security. It’s important to use performance-based solutions to ensure that the customer’s network, finances and overall infrastructure are organized and secure. Here's a little bit about me. I enlisted to be a Nuclear Electronics Technician which requires a Secret Security clearance and a completion of a two-year program. I received intense training at an accelerated rate at the Naval Nuclear Electronics Training Command (NNPTC) and at ECPI University as well. I have A +, Net +, Sec +, Linux +, LPIC-1, Cloud Computing, EMC SAN and VMWare VCP-510 certifications. Currently, I am pursuing a RHCSA certification by the end of September. The training I received from both the NNPTC and ECPI dealt with many different forms of troubleshooting electrical equipment, network installation and network security. I understand the necessity of completing the job or project with quality and efficiency. My three years of military experience, eight years of martial arts experience and seven years experience in the restaurant industry have all contributed to the enhancement of my professionalism, teamwork, ability to ask for help if needed and extensive technical skills. I know that I can prove myself as a consistent and professional asset to any company willing to give me an opportunity. SPAWAR, has given me that opportunity and I wont let them, my family and myself down.
