About Gregory Ho

I am a lecturer within the School of Medical and Health Sciences at Edith Cowan University. I teach both undergraduate and postgraduate students in the areas of WHS law, workers’ compensation, ergonomics and population health, with a strong track record of consistently high student satisfaction across all units. Since commencing with ECU in 2012, I have established myself as a passionate lecturer whose innovative teaching methods have been recognised by both academia and industry. I am proud to be a champion for diversity and equality at ECU and, in 2018, I received the national Diversity and Inclusion Champions Award by the Women in Safety and Health (WISH) Network of the Australian Institute of Health and Safety. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I produced a video highlighting the diversity and inclusion at ECU, in collaboration with ECU Elder-in-Residence, Nan Roma Winmar, and the video became popular on social media. Since 2021, I have also worked part-time at Edith Cowan College (ECC), a pathway institution for ECU, that has a strong multicultural cohort. This has given me valuable experience in teaching international students and realising the need to adapt curricula to different students. In addition to my work at ECU and ECC, I hold a part-time position as a WHS Officer for Space for Life in the area of supported accommodation services under the NDIS. This has allowed me to remain in practice in industry as well as using my knowledge to assist the disabled community.
