About Gregory Hodges

My life is largely defined by my passions, and I have several. One is working with youth and helping to provide them with the ideas, tools, and opportunities they need to be successful, achieve their full potential, and realize their dreams. The future depends upon society's investment in its young people. Since I have worked either in education or in social services, the majority of that time spent with Big Brothers Big Sisters. Another is education - that is, the simple joy of learning. I have an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and consider each and every day an opportunity to learn new things about the world and see things from different perspectives. I find the human story in all its magnificent diversity to be endlessly fascinating. Last but certainly not least is my undying love for the arts, where imagination, creativity, and the depths of human compassion and understanding are on full display. I am a writer of fiction, poetry, and drama (as of August 2023 not yet published, but working on it!) and a composer of classical music.
