For over 45 years, I’ve helped companies craft compelling narratives through bold, strategic, and unexpected branded solutions. From spirited startups to industry-defining Fortune 500s, I’ve led design teams through brand development programs that challenge assumptions—spanning strategy, identity, packaging, collateral, events, and digital experiences. Every project is an opportunity to tell a story that resonates with people, whether through the curve of a logo, the feel of a package, or the rhythm of a digital interface. Human-centered design is at the heart of everything I do, ensuring that each solution is crafted with empathy, purpose, and a deep understanding of the audience’s needs and experiences. For the past 19 years, I’ve also been shaping the next generation of designers at San Jose State University, with a brief tenure at CCA, pushing them to see design as more than visuals—it’s a language, a tool for innovation, and a force for cultural impact. At my core, I’m endlessly curious—always looking closer, questioning deeper, and designing only when absolutely necessary (because let’s be honest, the world doesn’t need another forgettable story).
