gajones10@gmail.com | Software development is fun, developing quality software is hard - Why? One common factor is visualization or the lack of visualization. Most of us (people) are not genius musicians or artists or mathematicians that can see or visualize numbers or musical notes in glorious color nor recreate an artistic scene on canvas from memory - maintaining the vivid detail. Most computer analyst, developers, managers are in the average maybe above average category - not genius. The ability to visualize - see or have a clear mental map of system components their relationships, their interactions along with the disciplines that form a project are needed to effectively contribute to, and manage IT projects. The inability to visualize a system creates a vacuum, a hole which makes managing the project difficult, ultimately impossible. My objective with respect to any IT task is to provide clear visualization to stakeholders; requirements management, design and implementation at a high level; allocation and trace throughout the detailed level. The views are tailored to "make sense" and allow for more informed IT governance. Having experienced the power of analysis, design and available tooling, I elected a sabbatical to critically study the current and to-be future IT industry and earn my Bachelor of Science (BS) degree. Because the IT industry has and will continue to reshape society interaction at the individual, regional and global levels - a return to the academic environment has been an enormous benefit. I received my BS degree (summa-cum-laude) from Pace University with concentration in telecommunications and networking. My current specific focus is software lifecycle processes, analysis and design with close association with cloud computing and networking. My mission - resume project management technical assistance to organizations that want to acquire and maintain working systems for use today - flexible for tomorrow - designed for the future.
