About Gregory Laplante

I am a Senior Policy Analyst with Public Safety Canada, with a Master's degree in Public Policy and Public Administration from Concordia University! As a goal-oriented individual, my skills lend themselves to high performance in synthesizing a wide range of information into compact policy reports. Eager, ambitious, and analytical, my team-building skills and ability to connect with my peers are very strong. I have extensive experience with policy analysis, having worked on regulatory development during my time at Public Safety Canada, as well as capacity-building and lessons learned initiatives during my time with the Canadian Coast Guard. Before working for the Canadian government, I completed several research assistant contracts in the policy realms of ageing, immigration, and housing. I also developed practical knowledge of how politics work early on, having worked as a Data Manager for the successful electoral campaign of my local MP in 2015.
