I have held more than one job title over the years, yet a few trends within my professional history are very consistent. I may have held many job titles, but the trend that emerges the most prominently is my history of uncovering solutions to complex technical issues. Since 2006, I have been getting to the root of challenging technical problems then finding innovative and cost-effective solutions. I have previously worked for companies that installed automated customer service equipment, such working at a company that performed installations and routine maintenance on ATMs while also completing repairs when needed. I have also worked for a company that installed and maintained automated check-in kiosks at airports. Besides working with automated customer interface equipment, and completing a stint servicing Xerox equipment with the City of Houston, I have been a self-employed computer specialist, so I am a self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset. My most recent and long-running position was working for the Xerox corporation from June of 2011 until December of 2020. While with Xerox, I served as their sole network specialist and printer connectivity expert within the greater Houston metro area. At this position, I also improved my customer service skills and sharpened my already decent knowledge of printers and my overall knowledge of computer networks. While partnered with Xerox, I also had the pleasure of teaching my customers how to use and troubleshoot software issues with Xerox printers that were connected to their organizational networks. I additionally taught my customers Dahill hardware repair techniques. KEY SUCCESSES AT XEROX: Collaborated with Xerox software engineers and EFI corporation developers to build a new software driver for one model of printer. Co-developed a new software driver that allowed one model of printer to connect its scanning function to networks where no such capabilities existed previously. Fulfilled service for Huntsville Memorial Hospital and 5 local school districts
