About Gregory Mathis

In my role as Communications Manager, I manage internal and external communications strategies for Martha's Vineyard Hospital and Nantucket Cottage Hospital, as well as manage both hospital's intranet site, produce a weekly employee newsletter, produce digital signage, coordinate social media, and serve as local Public Information Officer. I partner closely with hospital leadership to develop and implement a local communications strategy aimed at increasing engagement among leaders, employees, and the community. As the onsite "go-to" communications leader, I create compelling written communications, including talking points, FAQs, presentations, and more, to support strategic initiatives related to MVH, NCH and the Mass General Brigham system. My responsibilities include drafting and executing internal strategic communications plans that drive awareness, support, and engagement for systemwide and MVH/NCH initiatives in areas such as community health, health equity, patient experience, and other clinical areas. Additionally, I collaborate with communications colleagues across the system to amplify messages as needed.
