My academic experience includes developmental biology, cancer immunology, nucleotide biochemistry and metabolism, evolutionary biochemistry, and ion channel biophysics. A large focus of my past work is on how nucleotide biosynthetic enzymes are inhibited by, and evolve resistance to, chemotherapeutic nucleoside analogues.
