My career has been dedicated to analysis, design, and development of innovative solutions in the areas of thermal sciences and energy engineering. In particular, my expertise includes exposure to complete lifecycle issues for power plants, including design, construction and commissioning, deep understanding of plant operations (startup, shutdown, trip recovery), control systems, and major plant retrofits. Power Generation: Turnkey Operator Training Simulators; Process Control and Safety Instrumented Systems Testing and Commissioning; plant performance analysis and studies: low-load operation, flue gas draft and implosion transients, Fuel Gas pipeline dynamics. Fossil and Nuclear, multiple clients, including: Constellation Energy, First Energy, Iberdrola, Saudi Electric, PPL, NRG, and many others. Contribution: Business Unit and Engineering Director Oil and Gas (upstream and downstream), Chemical, Pulp and Paper Process Industries: Design and implementation of tiered (low, medium, and high) fidelity simulations for control system checkout and operator process familiarization during plant commissioning. Includes auto-generation of model from electronic Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (see Patent section).
