Working from home Guru thanks to Covid-19. UNIQUENESS With a plethora of Cybersecurity industry experience on government and military levels I’ve seen it all. My career started when I joined the Navy in 1993. Being a part of Naval Intelligence and the National Security Agency helped me gain laser focus on securing data. The foundation for my career was built on solid bedrock. From the beginning where we had to develop our own tools (and with Information Security in its infancy) I was able to help define for the Department of the Navy security threats, tactics, and training. As the only enlisted person involved in developing the Navy’s Cyber Security Matrix, I also ran communications on the South Korean Peninsula—responsible for all US communications coming into or leaving South Korea. Over time my job became my passion. I truly love being able to take a company that has no or little security and develop the most effective program. I think that anyone that trusts a company or government entity with their personal and private information has the right to know that it’s being protected according to best practices.
