About Gregory Renard

As a Math Teacher, AI Superforecaster, and Human-AI Sociologist, I'm passionate about a connected world where universal access to knowledge frees people to achieve their full potential (mixing Sociology and AI to compress time and achieve the last mile to a real product). My life's goal is to positively impact more than 1 billion people with AI Technologies, focusing on Applied AI for the good of everyone. With 25+ years in applied NLP and AI, I have pioneered significant advancements in the AI industry. In 2012, I launched Angie, the French Siri, marking a milestone in dialogue systems and ChatBots. My work, recognized by the US DOE and NASA, has shaped AI strategy in FR, BE and EU. I've also co-created a Sociology-NLP research group at UC Berkeley and made lectures at TEDx, Stanford, Berkeley, MIT, and IAS at Princeton. I co-authored the Holberton Turing Oath in 2018, advocating for the regulation of the AI industry.
