I have 25+ years of deep technical expertise in oilfield chemistry and chemical engineering involving the use of chemicals to induce or improve the production of oil or gas. I maintain extensive knowledge of the chemical, physical and ecotoxicological properties of substances and how these relate to operations, human health and the environment. I have been exposed to a wide variety of chemistries, applications and testing, allowing me to work with every type of chemical additive used in well stimulation and production while maintaining a business focus and managing a chemical product portfolio through extensive internal and external interactions, accurate documentation, and prioritizing performance, safety, and regulatory/compliance obligations. With a proven track record in people and project management, I often serve as the bridge between internal R&D teams and customer's needs. I am highly skilled at managing most aspects of chemistry departments including new technology development, sales, manufacturing, long-term planning/strategy, daily operations, people, health and safety, and both customer and operations support. Additionally, I have a strong passion for problem-solving and developing solutions, building relationships and new partnerships, as well as improving necessary efficiencies for better performance, environmental improvement, and long-term financial gains.
