About Greta Gauhe

I’m a choreographer, researcher, and lecturer working across dance, somatics, and visual art. My interdisciplinary practice focuses on the emotional, social, and sensory dimensions of touch, particularly how touch can be recreated remotely through movement, imagination, and audio. I explore the role of the arts in health, wellbeing, and social change, often through participatory and community-based work. As artistic director of Follow Through Collective, I create site-specific and sensory performances that engage with political, ecological, and embodied questions. My projects span from collaborations with people living with chronic pain to sculptural performances on intimacy and memory, developed with visual artist Deborah Di Meglio. Alongside my creative work, I lecture in higher education, contribute editorially to the Journal of Dance and Somatic Practices, and bring experience from both the arts and commercial sectors. I’m passionate about building connections between research, creative practice, and lived experience and always open to new collaborations.
