In every business I have worked in I have started as a dishwasher or receptionist or PA. My greatest skill is the ability to see a need, learn the required skills, then fulfil the requirements of that need. This is how I went from PA to GM in my last job and dishwasher to Cafe Manager in a previous one. I enjoy improving efficiencies and decreasing costs in businesses so that the business can grow. I enjoy entering every nook and cranny in a business without ever thinking "that's not my responsibility". I love helping others to be more efficient as well, but I don't need a fancy title. I just love working in the background to achieve greater margins and better efficiencies. Career Highlights Started work at 14, driven by a desire to pay my own way. My early jobs showed me the importance and power of communication, honesty and hard work. After finishing school I went door to door to all my local businesses until I found a job. I mastered the use of various computer programs as required by my roles - incl. use of Mac. I became a Cafe Manager despite starting as a dishwasher and having no previous experience. Became Wedding coordinator and achieved my personal goal of “No unhappy brides” Achieved ISO accreditation and maintained this status for 4 years. Became General Manager of a national franchise after starting as a PA. Worked from home for 7.5 years and have always been self-motivated and proud of my work. Successfully hired & managed a team of Virtual Staff working in the Philippines. I love solving problems, thinking outside the box, and dealing with situations off my own bat.
