About Gretchen Baum

I am the founder and CEO of a company that develops healthy, organic, non-allergic, tropical food products, a venture that emerged during the pandemic, infused with my 15 years of experience in hospitality, catering, and retail. As a certified Yacht Master by the Royal Yachting Association and have managed and maintained many superyachts. I also work as a part-time events sale's specialist at Team One Newport, a leading retailer of sailing and marine gear and apparel. In this role, I have led retail sales at special events ranging from boat shows, sailing regattas, and prestigious races across the US, Asia, and Europe, increasing revenue and customer satisfaction. I have also coordinated new maritime technology installations globally, from account management to onboarding new customers, for KVH Industries, Inc, a provider of satellite communications and navigation solutions. I had integral front of the house VIP management roles in the grand openings of Starwood and Ritz Carlton properties, worldwide. After "September 11th", when Jersey City was revitalizing, I was a real estate agent. My restoration, landlord, property management, interior design, and sales skills helped many people find their homes and businesses. It is my positive steadfast energy, strong communication, event management, teaching and product promotion skills that enable me to deliver exceptional results in diverse and dynamic environments. My mission is to improve the lives of others while living a healthy active lifestyle of traveling, volunteering, sailing, equine, art, and spending time with family and friends.
