About Gretchen Darr

Never Give Up! My passion, curiosity, vigor, and adaptability have afforded me many opportunities and I’m ready for some more! I am a map loving, book reading, opera singing, third generation educator who has taught synchronously and asynchronously both elementary aged students as well as adults. I have developed and implemented educational programs, created presentations, managed and collaborated with multi-faceted groups to create an abundance of educational experiences for diverse groups of stakeholders. My multicultural upbringing has taught me the importance of collaboration and communication along with a strong work ethic. All of this has made me a successful manager, educator, facilitator, leader, team member, and collaborator. I have the critical and creative thinking skills necessary to understand and solve global-scale problems. By integrating divergent and convergent thinking, team building, and problem-solving skills, I have developed successful partnerships through collaborative principles in professional learning communities in both the public and private educational setting.
