About Gretchen Glaspy

I am a hospital pharmacist with nearly 20 years of experience. I hold licensure in Oklahoma and Alaska. I am currently the clinical informatics pharmacist with experience in using Meditech, Omnicell, Plexus, Codonics, PharmacyKeeper/MedKeeper, Acudose, and HMM. I was the chief editor of our 2015-2016 QAPI project "The Standardization of the Mixing and Titration of Medications.", which now updated and republished yearly. I sit on various committees, including the policy and procedure, pharmacy and therapeutics, critical care, infusion therapy, and Meditech modules. I attended the 2016 ISMP Medication Safety Intensive and completed the 2107-2018 Pharmacy Leadership Academy through the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP). In 2018, I was elected to the board of directors of the Alaska Pharmacy Association (AKPhA) and named as chair-elect to the state chapter of ASHP. In 2021, I was elected as president of AKPhA and served as past-chair of the state ASHP chapter.
