Gretchen has held prominent leadership roles, including President of Elton John Eyewear, Vice President at HIGHMARK and Senior Merchant at Sam's Club, where she was pivotal in designing and executing data-driven, consumer-centric retail partnerships. She spearheaded the development of integrated retail solutions for global healthcare retailers that seamlessly connected manufacturing, product, technology, finance and merchant functions to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Her work has earned her several accolades, including recognition on Top 40 Under 40 and Most Influential Women lists, highlighting her impact in shaping the future of the retail services and consumer goods industries. Known for her strategic insight, energy, and collaborative spirit, Gretchen is driven by a passion for culture, mission minded, people-first and builder of high-performing teams. A recognized thought leader, she has also received executive training from Harvard University and holds a Master’s degree in Global Business Management from McCombs Business School and a Bachelor's degree in Business from Texas A&M University. Outside of her professional achievements, Gretchen is dedicated to the mission to find a cure for Type 1 Diabetes. Within Breakthrough T1D and American Diabetes Association organizations, she serves to fund and research cure pathways. When not working, she enjoys traveling to explore new cultures and architecture, is an avid reader, and has a deep appreciation for live theatre and performing arts.
