Entering my senior year at Marquette, I am eager to navigate through a new and changing business environment. I have already gotten a headstart as I was hired by 2 organizations since the beginning of last year. Early on in 2020, I joined the Milwaukee Admirals. Then, amidst a global pandemic, I was able to secure an internship with LifeQuotes.com. Following those experiences, I was able to parlay that into my current job as an estimating intern for Michels Construction.Michels Construction has shown me a path for what I would love to continue to do for the rest of my life. With great supervision, I was able to excel in my designated responsibilities as an intern, even taking on a few tasks that brought me out of my comfort zone, for good reasons. I was also able to go on my first business trip and get out into the field for some hands-on work. It has been an honor to be able to say that Michels is the company I worked for.Before Michels, I joined LifeQuotes.com and worked as a customer relations intern. During my time at LifeQuotes, we worked with customers, via the phone, and walked them through how they could receive life insurance quotes. Through the usage of our dashboard operating system, we could compare the rates of over 50 life insurance companies to ensure the customer was receiving the best options available. This internship was not only proficient in excelling my marketing abilities, it also enlightened me on one of the largest business fields in the world. insurance.
