As a SharePoint administrator my roles include monitoring, maintaining and troubleshooting two SharePoint 2013 farms with over users. This includes assisting and guiding the team members that provide SharePoint development and production support assistance and guidance to provide the highest level of customer satisfaction. Monitoring is achieved using different tools such as DocAve Governance Automation, Metallogix ControPoint and PowerShell scripting as well as server monitoring applications such as Performance Monitor. Maintenance is achieved by assisting with server OS patching, performing SharePoint patching and scheduling and performing SharePoint service accounts password changes to conform with IT security standards. Both farms were successfully migrated from SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint 2013 using a combination of Metallogix Content Matrix and PowerShell scripting then rebuilding any web design customization as well as Nintex Workflows or SharePoint Designer workflows.
