About Guilherme Hoffmann

Hello! My name is Guilherme and I am a Django/Python Software Developer. In my current job, I maintain and create new features responsible for a range of actions on bare-metal servers. Due to my background in Computer Science, I find it easy to navigate different areas of computing and learn new technologies. I like to be proactive and I believe that communication is an important factor for good work to be done. In previous experiences, I worked as a Full-stack Software Developer also using Django. I was a professor at a state university where I taught the subjects of Operating Systems, Distributed Systems and Computers and Society. During my undergraduate studies, I participated in extension projects that gave me contact with areas other than just technical computing, such as the extension project that taught programming to high school students, mentoring projects and also participation in the group organizing the course's academic week. I have a wide range of hobbies, from listening to music to reading books, playing video games, crocheting, gardening, drawing/painting and exercising. Spending time with friends is also something I really enjoy doing. I'm looking to connect with professionals who value a dynamic and collaborative work environment. If you're looking to collaborate or discuss new opportunities, feel free to reach out.
