Abraham Gum Madol Advocate & Legal Consultant Liberal Advocates – Juba South Sudan. Abraham Gum is currently a Managing Partner & Practice Director at Liberal Advocates, South Sudan Country Office. He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Rights and a Bachelor of Laws Degree from University of Juba. Abraham areas of specialization include Commercial and Corporate Laws, Energy and Environmental Laws, General Litigation, Customary Law, Banking and Finance Laws, Intellectual Property Law, Taxation, Property, Land and Conveyance Laws, Regional and International Human Rights, Regulatory and Legislative Drafting, and Alternative Dispute Resolution. With his track records in litigation; he tried over a dozen of cases within South Sudan, he also negotiated; concluded numerous commercial transactions on behalf of multi clients. With six (6) years of diverse experience in the fields of management, community engagement and law; Abraham worked with Winrock International USAID Funded Project as a County Team Lead and Community Mobilization Coordinator, a Seasoned Legal and Social Researcher with International Republican Institute (IRI) USA, and a Senior Legal Protection Officer with Federation of South Sudan Women Lawyers Association and as a Legislative draftee, he helped drafted the current South Sudan Labour Act, 2017. Currently Abraham is providing support to individuals/companies and or organizations with timely advisory and legal services to manage emerging risks and regulatory issues within South Sudan. Prior forming Liberal Advocates, Abraham worked with Juba Law Chambers and Kolmarek Law Chambers where he accumulated his current wealthy experiences in legal practice; he can perform his work dutifully, diligently and compassionately.
