About Gunisha Chawla

As a young girl, I was the problem solver of the house, having quick and prompt advice/solution for everyone which almost always showed results. For my teachers I was the responsible one and for my friends I was the one they could always rely upon. As a grown up, I pretty much exhibit all of that and more. As a Product Manager at Reliance Jio, I've been involved in numerous projects within MyJio and one of them being integration of a new business line with our product. I have also been associated with the push notification campaigns rolled out to our customers, aimed at customer acquisition and engagement. The key skills that make my work possible are essentially the ability to strategize a solution by identifying customer needs and understanding business requirements, prioritize and create a roadmap for the same and coordinate effectively with different stakeholders to bring out the product as desired. All of this cannot be possible without an underlying characteristic that one must possess to excel and that is owning up the product and having a sense of responsibility towards it and I think I've been training for that from the time I was young. My actual work experience has taught me that my professional value boils down to the following- I'm an initiator, driven with data and motivated by facts- I don't care who gets the credit, I just like to win- I have big ideas and I understand execution is what matters and I do the execution- If my left and right brain were hands, I would have been ambidextrous- I'm the calm one because I understand that a raging mind can never think straight- I run towards fire.
