About Gunnar Knudtson

Born and raised in the great city of Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Graduated from Notre Dame Regional High school in 2012. But proud to have attended Cape Public schools K-8 Grade. Growing up I was extremely active in my community and participated in all sports. I ended up excelling in the great game of golf where I participated and competed at a high level. After much deliberation and research, we decided that leaving the friendly confines of my hometown would probably serve me best in my developmental journey. A decision was made to enroll in the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) in the fall of 2012 and it proved to be a wonderful decision for me. While attending Ole Miss it was clear to me that my studies would be focused around the financial industry. My father is the Executive Vice President and founding board member of a small community bank in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and I have witnessed, first hand, the values of building and establishing relationships. While attending Ole Miss, I also found myself deeply involved in Greek life and had a meaningful and invaluable experience serving as an Executive leader of Pi Kappa Alpha (PIKE) fraternity. In May of 2016, I graduated from Ole Miss with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Banking and Managerial Finance. While my studies are based around the financial industry, I am excited and open-minded as to where the next chapter of my life will take me. I would consider myself to be a leader and a person who is extremely enthusiastic and optimistic. My family has molded me to be courteous and respectful of the people around me and I know the value of a firm handshake and "Yes Ma'am" and "Yes Sir". I fully understand the competitive job market that exists today and I feel as though I have taken the necessary steps to best prepare me to go to the next level. I am committed to learning, growing, and bringing value to someone or an organization.
