Currently based in Geraldton WA after travelling around Australia for a few years. I would be willing to relocate. I am an Australian citizen. I have a current police clearance, fully DAS compliant and a non smoker. I have worked across a variety of industries including rail operations, as a fitter I have worked on full life cycle of industrial plant from installation and commissioning of new plant, PM and CM maintenance to decommissioning and removal of obsolete plant. I have worked in government and private industry, while working for various labor hire companies I have worked in heavy industries including steel mills, foundries, paper mills and Petro chemical plants. I have worked on multiple mine sites throughout the Mid-West and North-West of WA during short term scheduled shuts as well as shift coverage. I have a strong commitment to OHS, having been a HSR and first aid officer for many years and have been a member of multiple OHSCs and forums. I always welcome new learning opportunities, recently I gained my basic riggers/dogman qualifications. I have a FL and EWP license, I have current white card, working at heights confined space and gas testing ticket. I am a team player who has taken on leadership roles on multiple occasions. A self starter and self motivated I am looking for an opportunity to establish myself, gain new skills, and contribute to a safe, sustainable work place. The idea of helping to contribute to the future economic and environmental wellbeing of Australia and the globe is an exciting prospect to me
