Background

About Gurjit Ghag

I’ve worked for various organizations throughout my career and spent much of that time focused on IT compliance. My private sector experiences include IT compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Act. My public sector experience includes implementing complex IT controls to comply with the California Law Enforcement Telecommunications System (CLETS) and Registrar of Voter (ROV) elections compliance. My role in healthcare focused on Health Insurance Portability and Accountability (HIPAA) and Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) compliance. My broad IT background also makes me well-suited to implement these compliance standards. This includes leading various Data Center technologies such as Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS), Storage Area Network (SAN), Zero Trust Architecture, and Cisco Nexus switching. I’ve also led several teams, including Information Security, Network, Network Security, Unified Communications (UC), Mobility, and Public Safety Radio Systems.
