Background
About Gurkan Or
As an experienced Customs Broker Supervisor with over 15 years experience overseeing import and export processes across APAC, EU, and the US for major customers including Siemens, Coles, Ford, and Bunnings. My work spans declaration accuracy, tariff and TCO assessment, data quality, and ensuring compliance with customs requirements.I support team performance across brokers, compilers, and offshore staff, helping maintain smooth workflows and consistent standards. In 2025, I contributed to the setup of customs processes for the newly awarded Bunnings account, including system and data integration across multiple platforms.Earlier in my career, I spent over a decade supporting the Siemens portfolio, managing high‑volume declarations and acting as the main customs contact in regular governance meetings. As a Licensed Customs Broker and ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, I focus on accuracy, practical problem‑solving, and steady day‑to‑day operational support.
