About Gurminder Singh

Currently, I am pursuing a Master's degree in Macroeconomics and Finance, which has provided me with a solid theoretical foundation in financial modeling, asset pricing, and investment management. In addition to my academic pursuits, I am also proud to serve as the Manager Director of the HEC Investing Club, where I oversee a portfolio of based on stock analysis conducted by student analysts. As the Manager Director, I lead a team of 7 analysts who specialize in the Healthcare sector. I am responsible for supervising their equity research and training new recruits on valuation techniques. I also play a key role in making strategic decisions for the club. In addition to my managerial duties, I conduct qualitative and quantitative business studies, which have provided me with practical expertise in financial analysis, company and industry research, and team communication. In addition to my work with the HEC Investing Club, I was also a semi-finalist in the Boston Strategy Cup, where I gained hands-on experience providing strategic solutions to real-world corporate difficulties. This experience has honed my analytical and problem-solving abilities, further enhancing my skillset. Currently, I serve as a member of the board of Capitant Liège in the capacity of Career. In this role, I organize and lead workshops on investment banking and asset management throughout Belgium. Working closely with other board members, I also play a key role in making important strategic decisions for the organization. My ultimate objective is to add value to a respected organization by enhancing my skills and advancing my career. It would be a pleasure to connect with industry experts in investment banking and equity research, gain insights from their experiences, and explore potential prospects. I possess a deep-seated passion for finance, asset management, and equity research, and I am enthusiastic about utilizing my knowledge and expertise to pursue a stimulating and fulfilling career in this domain.
