My purpose in all that I do: Catalyzing people and organizations to thrive in pursuit of the purpose at their heart. Rooted in my twin careers as a CPA and an OD professional, I teach and lead teams through dynamic strategic planning and whole system development that optimizes positive impact on profits AND people. To thrive in today’s rapidly shifting environment requires spiraling innovation and integration—unified by a clear sense of purpose and attentiveness to the driving motivators of all stakeholders. Win-win isn’t just a negotiating tactic, it’s the basis of true sustainability for any organization, whether for profit or not, that serves people’s needs—customers/clients, employees/partners and the surrounding community. My versatile approach to consulting is itself innovative and integrative—reflecting 30 years of experience with hundreds of organizations across all three sectors, domestically and overseas, ranging from start-ups and entrepreneurial nonprofits to international NGOs and billion dollar companies. My analytical CPA side insists upon rigorous internal and external analysis that illuminates strategic opportunities. And my OD side loves to engage people in collective strategizing that turns vision and analysis into creative and committed action. A facilitator at heart, I relish whole-system asset-based processes that draw out and integrate the diverse talents, purposeful passions, and collective wisdom of an organization’s people toward shared goals that come alive in their hearts and minds as they work together.
