About Gustavo Amaral

Creative Director & Screenwriter Specializing in Animation and Gaming Industry I'm a seasoned Creative Director and Screenwriter with more than 15 years of experience shaping stories through 2D and 3D animation. My journey began in one of Brazil's top animation studios - Oca Animation - where I served as a partner for over a decade. Through this role, I led talented teams, managed large-scale productions, and co-created the animated show "Time to Rock" for Globo, Latin America's largest media conglomerate. My portfolio showcases my ability to craft memorable characters and narratives, such as "Ginga," the official Olympic mascot for Brazil that starred in shorts for Cartoon Network, and animated series like "Fifi and Friends" for Sesame Studio and "Mão de Vaca Show" for Brazil's largest bank. These creations not only entertained audiences but also solidified my reputation as an inventive storyteller and skillful Series Director. In recent years, I expanded my craft into the gaming industry, overseeing creative production for User Acquisition (UA) campaigns. This role allowed me to apply my skills in screenwriting and film directing, strategic resource management, and performance analysis to an exciting and rapidly evolving field. As I move forward, I'm always open to connecting with fellow creatives and industry professionals who share my passion for animation and storytelling. Let's start a conversation!
