More than 30 years working with tax law and over 25 years assisting large national and international corporations, particularly those in manufacturing, infrastructure, telecom, power and oil and gas industries, providing legal advice on Brazilian and international taxation (encompassing legal opinions, due diligence investigations, tax planning in corporate restructurings etc.). Also represents clients in judicial and administrative tax litigation at federal, state and municipal levels. Earned a LL.M. Degree with Merit in International Tax Law from the University of London, Queen Mary College (2007-2008), under the sponsorship of the Chevening Programme awarded by the United Kingdom's Foreign Commonwealth Office. Founder and Chairman of the Tax Committee of the Brazilian Chamber of Commerce in Great Britain. Reporter for Brazil in the Cahiers of the International Fiscal Association - IFA, on 2001 and 2006. Former Chairman of Tax Committee of the British Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Brazil - BRITCHAM, Rio de Janeiro branch (2005-2007). Appointed since 2014 by Best Lawyers International in its limited list of recommended tax practitioners for Brazil.
