I am a highly experienced Civil Engineer with over 14 years of expertise in the heavy civil industry. My background includes a Master's degree in Construction Management, with specialization in the construction of highways, overpasses, tunnels, urban and rural roads, structural steel repairs, commercial remodeling, and significant projects for the NYC Transit-MTA, such as the Canarsie Tunnel Rehab Project in NYC, valued at $502 million. Currently, I serve as the Lead Project Manager for the South Dade Rapid Transit BRT project, a $368 million initiative for Miami-Dade County under the Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTPW). In addition, I am the Senior Project Manager for the $228.7 million Miami-Dade Corrections and Rehabilitation Department (MDCR) Master Plan Replacement Jail – Site 1, Training and Treatment Center (TTC). This transformative project addresses aging correctional infrastructure and introduces modern standards for inmate intake, healthcare, rehabilitation, and mental health services. The scope includes construction of a new Central Intake and Release Center, permanent MDCR headquarters, administrative offices, courtrooms, warehouse space, and a parking garage.
