My name is Gustavo Barroso Souza Cruz, and I consider curiosity to be one of my defining traits. I thrive on challenges, especially those that seem out of reach or involve areas I haven’t explored yet. These challenges push me beyond my comfort zone and drive me to grow and evolve.Co-founding a startup in a market I was initially unfamiliar with took this learning to the next level. It helped me develop strategic thinking, adaptability, and resilience. I also gained valuable experience leading teams, balancing hands-on coding with long-term planning, and making technical decisions that enable scalability and growth.Beyond entrepreneurship, I’ve had the opportunity to work as a teaching assistant in Data Science at university. This role taught me how to collaborate with people who have different learning styles and levels of expertise. It enhanced my empathy and patience, and reinforced my commitment to helping others grow.I’m always looking for ways to improve—whether it’s by mastering new skills or adopting new ways of thinking—and I believe this combination of curiosity and a competitive mindset sets me apart.
