I'm a skilled game developer with over 14 years of experience in programming, teaching, entrepreneurship, and leadership roles in the game development industry. As a lifelong gamer, I have always been drawn to the world of game development! Growing up in an emerging country, I was lucky to have the privilege of supportive parents who encouraged me at every step to explore a variety of interests: • Soccer • Basketball • Swimming • Chess • Computer classes • Typing classes • English classes • Karate This desire for learning and exploring activities is something that I hope to pass on to those around me. As a Boy Scout for 8 years, I learned valuable skills and more importantly, defining principles such as honor, honesty, loyalty, and teamwork. It wasn't until I participated in Global Game Jam in 2011 that I realized I could turn my programming skills and love for games into a career. I have followed my passion by joining in game jams and then beginning to carve my own path in the emerging local game development industry. Throughout my journey, I embraced roles such as programmer, teacher, entrepreneur, and leader. With my years of experience, I've honed not only my technical and interpersonal skills but have also been honored to help others achieve their dreams in the game development world. In 2018, I started as a volunteer for the Global Game jam and now hold the position of Translation Lead for their Executive Committee, the same organization that sparked my passion for game development. In this role, I have the privilege of leading and overseeing remote international teams. My goal is to share this passion with as many people as possible around the world through the power of translation. One thing I learned from my parents is the importance of self-improvement. I strive to be better every day, to that end over the past two years I have begun Japanese lessons, singing lessons, and returned to Karate. I am always open to learning new methods, technologies, and processes in order to be able to bring more value to the workplace. Thanks for reading!
