About Gustavo MacAssi

I have a Master’s degree in Project Management by ESAN University, Lima and Ramon Llull University - La Salle, Barcelona, and a Geological Engineering degree by Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería, Lima. I am specialized in planning and executing exploration programs, resource evaluation and project management of conceptual and pre-feasibility studies in porphyry, skarn, epithermal and polymetallic deposits. I have experience in open pit and underground mining operations. Proficient in using software like ArcGis, Leapfrog, Minesight, Datamine, GVMapper, MS Project and SAP. Native speaker of Spanish and proficient in English. I have solid knowledge in process and resource planning management under the PMI and IPA approach; budgeting, contract supervision, logistics, resource management, exploration techniques; space-time analysis and divergent thinking. Always committed to continuous improvement and applying good practices of professional performance, in environment, safety and social responsibility. Working in South America and the Caribbean gave me the chance for interacting with multicultural teams, which allowed me to develop communication skills, adapt to changing environments and apply different working methodologies. I’m a person with personal skills such as leadership, achievement orientation, problem solving skills, flexibility, interpersonal relationship management and effective communication.
