His professional demeanour is characterised by integrity, intelligence, and honesty. Guy began his career in the retail sector at David Jones, where he spent 13 years advancing to Senior Management. His contributions were instrumental to the iconic department store in Brisbane, Sydney, and London. He then transitioned to Pacific Dunlop, quickly ascending to Divisional General Manager, where he managed operations across China, Poland, and South Korea during a notable seven-year period. In 1992, Guy moved to Queensland, marking the start of a new chapter in his life. He and his wife, married for 40 years, have made the Gold Coast their home. They are proud parents of three adult children and doting grandparents to three grandchildren. Guy enjoys family life and is passionate about sports, especially Formula 1, alongside his commitment to business sales.
