About Guy Harris

Working at Geoffrey Butler Cycles has given excellent sales and managerial experience. I have very good skills in dealing with customers and staff. I pride my self on skills with my customers and believe they are one of the most important parts of any successful business, whether other businesses or the general public. Buying and dealing with suppliers has been an important day to day part of the job, whether in the UK or on the continent. I also have good insight into the problems facing the UK cycle industry regarding a weak Sterling and difficult retail environment. My time at Premium Crops greatly enhanced my sales skills, including telephone sales and technical support but most importantly business to business sales. As well as building and maintaining relationships with my own network of customers around the country, which helped to attain sales targets within the group. My current role at Glyn Hopkin Nissan involves a very high pressure selling environment and strict sales targets. We are required to build and maintain our own network of customers which are regularly monitored by management at head office. Sales training courses are a feature of this job and have been very useful in furthering my extensive sales skills.
