I have been with STERIS Canada since August 16th, 2004. I was hired as a Field Service Technician, I progressed in the organization to become Service Manager in 2016. The health and safety of my 13 technicians is my priority, our team is working in hazardous locations (numerous risks related to road accidents, electrical energy, mechanical energy, biological and chemical agents). I am proud to say that since my debut, the level of incidents has dropped, which has given us the "Team Safety Award" for the 2019 and 2020 fiscal years. I was appointment as the Health and Safety Officer for Canadian Service Employees. As the Safety Officer, I need to inform and help our team to comply with the different standards that we face today. We must conform to certain obligations such as; CSA standards, building management and protocols, TSSO, SIMDUT. I have also been active on the improvement of certain safety procedures within our company and have been active to help make our equipment meet the safety standards we demand today. As Service Manager, I was able to demonstrate my leadership and managerial qualities, both for the staff and for the projects, contract acquisitions/renewals, and inventory parts management. Meeting the various goals set by my company, both budgetary and performance indicators. My years of experience as a service technician (12 years) and as an automotive mechanic (15 years) have led me to work with several types of tools and environments. I’m comfortable with mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, PLC’s, AC/DC, regulation, automation, calibration and electronics. At Volkswagen I was specialized in electrical fault detection where I had to repair or replace electric harnesses and other components. As a service technician, I completed maintenance and troubleshooting on different type of equipment’s; Washers, pure steam generator, multi water stills, sterilizers, CEDs, BSL3/2 laboratories and VHPs. This means that I have dealt with Allen Bradley, Omron, Festo, and Domestic Brand Controls. Thank you,
