Hi, I’m Guy, a 28 years old Software Engineer, former Product Manager, and combat officer in the IDF. I enjoy building things and solving real problems. I’m a Computer Science & Entrepreneurship honors graduate with experience across product, engineering, and early-stage ventures. Over the past few years, I’ve focused on turning vague ideas and complex constraints into practical, working solutions, both independently and as part of teams.During my studies at Reichman University, I was part of both the Computer Science and Entrepreneurship honors programs, included in the Dean’s List for three consecutive years, and awarded Excellence Scholarships. I began my professional career as a Product Manager in a fintech company, working on B2B SaaS proucts. I later transitioned into a Full-Stack Developer role, where I worked hands-on with React, Node.js, SQL, AWS, Docker, building features end-to-end and strengthening myself as a builder. Today, I work as a Software Engineer at a GRC company. In parallel, I’ve been involved in entrepreneurship. I co-founded BIZIT, an AI-based platform designed to help first-time entrepreneurs get started. We built multiple MVPs, worked with real paying customers, and even won the 3rd place at the Pitch Night event. The venture was eventually shut down.Nowadays, I’ve been working on Pastival, an AI-powered mobile journaling app currently live on the App Store and Google Play. I led the product thinking and much of the technical implementation, including tons of AI pipelines, prompt design, cost-aware model usage, and backend infrastructure.Before all of this, I served as a combat officer and team commander in Gaza, and later completed 18 months in the Israeli Air Force pilot course. After October 7th, I returned to reserve duty and later co-initiated “Tzomet”, a non-profit event aimed at helping soldiers and officers reflect on their next steps. We raised sponsorships, partnered with organizations, and hosted a fully booked event for 150 participants, introducing speaker such as Naftali Bennet, Einav Aharoni Yunes and Avi Snir.
