About Guy Logan

A 30 year veteran of the construction industry, I have specialized expertise in the healthcare sector with more than 10 years of hospital experience in the role of General Superintendent specializing in renovation/addition projects, working on constrained sites, and 7 years as the Owner’s designated representative. As the Owner’s designated representative I am very successful in managing the project risks, scope, budget and driving the schedule. I am very comfortable working in partnership with all levels of people within a healthcare organization from the Board and CEO, departmental Directors, Physicians, Facilities Management and the front line workers and Ministry staff from MOHLTC, IO, TSSA and Municipal representatives. Through my experience with complex healthcare organizations, I have acquired an understanding of the public scrutiny they are subject to by donors, patients, staff and visitors and the necessity to bring a quick resolution to issues before they have an opportunity to become unmanageable. I have very strong leadership, team building and motivational skills and have successfully pulled together project teams comprised of Hospital staff and Consultants. My technical background in engineering along with my understanding of multifaceted mechanical, electrical and IT systems has afforded me the experience and confidence required to represent the Owner’s interests with design teams, general contractors, cost consultants and legal representatives. I have unique experience in the arena of dispute resolution and mediation and have advanced claim responses for a number of clients. As a result of the claims and responses I have cultivated negotiating techniques to bring positive resolution to issues. My strong financial and schedule controls and mitigation strategies have served my clients well.
