About Guy Siviour Amima

I am an experienced Consultant with comprehensive cross-industry knowledge and understanding of the full IT stack: applications, infrastructure, and operations. I am active in spearheading Kyndryl's Quantum Team focused on partnering with companies to enable their Quantum Safe and Quantum Computing journeys Skilled in understanding business and technology needs, goals and objectives, and requirements I have broad and strong experiences across application analysis, infrastructure transformations, operations improvement, service management, solution architecture, infrastructure discovery, solution architecture, and test management. With my academic background in Mathematics, Electronics, and Theoretical Particle Physics, I combine analytical rigour and practical problem-solving to deliver results and solutions for highly complex problems. I am a skilled communicator who excels at distilling complex information into clear, actionable insights. I am adept at absorbing detailed technical content and presenting it confidently to senior stakeholders, and simplifying the complexity to engage diverse audiencesI have a passion for innovation; quantum computers, analogue computers, and the future of computing, as well as sustainability, and I have published several articles on these topics. I continue to explore mathematics, particularly combinatorial optimisation problems and integer sequences; I am the author of three number sequences in the OEIS: oeis.org/A393096, oeis.org/A394061, and oeis.org/A394062. I am an Associate Member of the Institute of Mathematics and Its Applications (AMIMA)- https://ima.org.uk/. The potential rise of consciousness in machines is another area of interest for me, specifically looking from a cosmological perspective and how the fundamental properties of the universe give rise to consciousness. In an essay of the topic, I have defined the term “Androidic Principle”, akin to the Anthropic Principle, to describe the moment that artificial consciousness comes into existence. I have developed a proposal for a test of consciousness based on quantum theory and the experimental test for the violation of the Bell’s Inequality. In my spare time I enjoy creative writing and music, both of which focus on what it means to be human, drawing ideas from the subjects in which I have a passion.
