28 years experience in equity research and portfolio management, on both the buy-side and sell-side, in London, Paris and Hong Kong. Most recently as Portfolio Manager and Head of Global Research at Pie Funds in London, managing Global Large and Small Cap funds. Before that Partner at Ruffer LLP, a global investment management firm with AUM of $25bn. Managed different equity funds for Ruffer LLP between 2010 and 2017, beginning with the Ruffer European Fund, and then from Hong Kong the Ruffer Global Smaller Companies and Ruffer Emerging Markets Funds. Analytical skills were developed at Threadneedle in London, managing US equity portfolios, and honed at Jefferies in Paris as a sell-side stock-picking analyst, followed by a buy-side analyst role at AllianceBernstein in London. Experience in Hong Kong and at Ruffer enabled further development of leadership skills and cultural agility. Strong collaborative working approach, a passion for developing others, and a truly global perspective on equity markets.
