About Guy Vigeant

In October 2019, I was appointed President of CGI’s Canada Operations, where I lead a team of consultants across 19 metro markets and bring CGI’s end-to-end capabilities—including strategic IT and business consulting, systems integration, managed IT and business process services, and intellectual property—to clients across industries. Prior to this appointment, I was responsible for CGI’s Mergers and Acquisitions worldwide. During my three-year tenure in this role, CGI closed 12 strategic mergers that offer clients expanded scale and expertise, and incoming consultants new career opportunities. Prior to October 2016, I served as Business Unit Leader of CGI’s Greater Montreal (GM) operations for more than four years. This business unit is composed of nearly consultants, providing services for local, national and international clients. Before this appointment, I was responsible for managing GM’s financial sector (2011-2012), commercial sector (2007-2011) and public sector (2004-2007) business. I began my career at CGI as a consultant and have 28 years of experience with the firm.
