Current role: Responsible for finance and day-to-day operations of format sales as Director Finance & Operations in H'sum (NL) directly reporting to MD of Global Partnerships (ITV ditribution arm). Started in this role Q1 2023 after the announcement to bring ITV’s format distribution (GE) and tape distribution (GD) under a single leadership structure. I was actively involved in restructuring and integrating the formats business into the new Global Partnership organisation. Key resposibilities: Timely & accurate delivery of financials (and detailed analysis) supported by key KPI's to support decision making. Business development (targeting monetization of brands across all income categories), dealstructuring, format acquisition and ad-hoc business cases driving revenue and margin growth. Prior role(s): Finance Director for ITVS GE: Full finance responsibility for ITV Studios Global Entertainment (ITV's international non-scripted format distributor). The integrated portfolio’s of ITV group formats are representing multiple genres, and distributed across many territories and platforms. Responsible for planning & reporting cycle, strategic positioning as well as support in dealstructuring (a.o. FLA, production (hub), ancillary etc), margin improvement and cost optimization / rationalization. Group controller for Talpa Media: responsible for financial and management accounting activities and reporting directly to Talpa Media's CFO. Next to monthly closing and full reporting cycle, I was responsible for optimizing and streamlining reporting activities and improving the Financial Planning & Analysis cycles. Role(s) at Endemol Shine: Sr. Business Controller for Endemol Shine Group 'ESG' responsible for Global Distribution and UK production business. Further responsibilities related to Russia and Poland business and global scripted business. Next to regular closing actvities, as sr. business controller responsible for safeguarding ESG’s assets, investment tracking / deficit funding and decision support. Manager consolidation: Heading the consolidation for the Endemol Shine ESG (5 years). Responsible for consolidation of 80 entities in over 30 markets representing an annual revenue of approx € 2bln. Key achievement: Participate in the financial restructuring of Endemol and creation of the JV with Core and 21st Century Fox’s production company Shine, resulting in the Endemol Shine Group. Next to my strong working experience I have a master’s degree in International Finance (@Vu University) and executive master in finance and control (post doc @Nyenrode).
